Living on the eastern side of the Sierras, Jo Linda loves the high desert and life in rural Nevada. She gardens, has horses and endless inspiration around her. Jo started painting at an early age. At 13 she painted the back of her guitar with a horse surrounded by roses. Things haven't changed much; she is still painting roses and horses. She taught painting for 30 years with many faithful students. She studied with Alzora Zaremba, Joyce Pike, Hedi Moran, Carlos Spina, Greg Drinkwine, Bob Thompkins and many other wonderful seminar teachers.
She's won numerous awards and has been a judge at the California State Fair for several years. Her porcelain work has been published in trade magazines and shown on ABC's Extreme Home Makeover. JoLinda paints in all mediums, with porcelain and oil being her favorites. She has also been commissioned to paint murals, portraits and historical landscapes.
