Anne Armijo (silk painting)
Long time Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley resident, Anne Armijo now lives in Silver Springs. The gallery is glad to have this multi-talented artist respresented. Her silk paintings on scarves capture local scenes, familiar animals, whimsy, and abstract images. She also has painted on eye glass holders (which can function as cell phone cases), tissue cases and other miscellaneous items.
Anne is a very versatile artist, working in silk, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor and pastels. The gallery is happy to have her silk available here. Anne has been active in the gallery for many years and is active in art associations as well. Her silk and other work can be seen in Carson City as well at the NAA Brewery Arts Center Gallery.
